im not convinced, cotto did that, didnt work.its more likley margs shrugs off a flush pac shot than pac shrugging off flush margs shots. mannys been wobbled by jmm and morales, only reason his later fights he hasnt been wobbled is becuase the dudes hes been fighting do not fight back enough. and even then cotto and clottey depite losing big managed to really bust pacman up , another thing just because mosley was able to ko margs does not mean manny will be able to, mosley is a far far harder puncher, mosley has true 1punch ko power at these weights manny does not. he hasnt really ko'd anybody since hatton. mannys power isnt the same above 140lbs, his speed gives him the ability to compete , but hes just too damn small to be really effective at this wt class, he may look good against a faded margs but a top guy would be a different story.if pac elects to brwl that only opens up margs chances even more. footwork and moving away with his speed would be his best shot. anything else and it will be a war he may not like.mannys pumped for this fight because he feels invincible, but hes forgetting hes been fighting shot ,poosies latley. he wanted nothing to do with a 3rd jmm bout I guess he forgot what it means to get pounded on.

in Pacs fights against bigger guys, they have all tried to bully him early and ended up getting caught & finished early or caught while coming in and beaten up over a few rounds & finished late. If he comes at Margarito early, he might get caught, himself...just an observation

well if he wasnt too damn small hed be fighting a top guy at 154lbs not margs at a catchweight. plus we all know delahoya was really past it, as well as cotto, and clottey well clottey is clottey. if his team felt he was big enough or even confident enough against whats perceived as a shot 6to 1 underdog there would be no 150lb catchweight for a 154lb vacant title its as simple as that. I hope to see a war.pac is good enough to beat bigger guys but not just any bigger guy, very carefully examined and chosen bigger guys. again if that werent true wed be seeing pac fight for a legit title like vs angulo,martinez or williams, whom are the champs at 154lbs.any of those 3 fights would be wars and would sell even more than this fight.

dude I dont know how long youve been watching these guys but margs face has far more punch resistance than pacs does, a sneeze will cut pac, if a guy fights back the entire fight it will be an issue.jmm cut pac,morales cut pac, clottey and cotto had pac bleeding mosley ko'd margs and didnt put a scratch on him.pac on points or margs by ko.

Sure they cut him but Cotto was on his bike hiding in the corner for the last 4 rds bleeding like a stuck pig. Clottey was only saved by his turtle shell defense, otherwise he would have gotten beat to a pulp, he even said so himself. Pac has been cut numerous times over his eyes but the fact remains at these higher weights, his speed advantage is much more apparent than when he was at 126.

another thing pacman doesnt throw combinations he throws the same2 punches over and over again, thats not a combination.thats a flurry. a combinatition is when you throw 3 to 5 different punches in one outing or shot. jmm is a combination puncher, pacman isnt a combination puncher, throwing the same shot over and over because its fast isnt a combination.rt -lft rt left rt left isnt a combination,its a flurry. a rtjab -str8 left,rt uppercut folowed by a lft jab or hook is an ex of a combination, mix them up any way u please.

Pac does a right, left, right 45 (pseudo uppercut/straight), left, right or a variation of that. He also feints very well to get the opponent to commit to blocking a certain punch and then he strikes to the exposed area. His speed allows him to do pretty much what he wants to.

Unless his chin has been cracked he wouldn't feel the effects of Pacquiao's blows until late in the fight.

He ate some viscous shots from Cotto and stopped him late. He practically swallowed bombs from Mosley, getting put down for good late in the fight.

Even if the punches don't do deadly damage on their own, he will have Margs shielding up for the shear reason that he won't know where the punches are coming from. Margs takes punches well but he swings so wide that he will be eating a ton of punches. I'm not saying that Pac won't get caught but Margs is gonna take a beating. Eventually, he will start to succumb to the straighter, faster punches and have to rely on defense to survive.

I would love to see Pacquiao vs. JMM III; only to watch JMM get KTFO in the first two rounds. Pacquiao has developed since they last fought, Pacquiao has both hands that are lethal. JMM would not stand a chance now. Any weight above 135lbs, JMM has no chance with Pacquiao.

all those points are good ones. however, they still don't mean pac can't beat those guys, just that his people see them as too much risk. obviously, this is still a business. so from that stand point that you presented, he is "too damn small", from a realistic, competitive stand point, he isn't "too damn small" for any of them.
