G Dog thinks maybe Arum told Marg not to hurt his cash cow, would Arum really risk his cash cow against a guy who is pretty much a nobody in the casual fan scene? He could of told him to not hurt him and you get big bucks, who wouldnt do that? 5 or 6 million...dayum


Casual fans are what make big fights their $$$, G Dog just doesnt get why he would risk Pac against a small player when it comes to the dollars

I think your logic should point to it being the other way around, surely?

If this is going to be Pac's penultimate fight, then a Margarito win will pave the way for huge money.

Someone as backstabbing as Arum isn't going to care if Manny goes out on a loss.

Margarito stock will rise massively, and the returns against a Cotto, Martinez, (maybe) Floyd fight would be huge. And those fights are of course much more possible than Pac facing them.

If anything, Arum would want Pac to take a dive.

Personally, i believe this fight MAY be a fixed fight just like ANY OTHER BOXING FIGHT OR MMA FIGHT being made out there. Or ANY fight that is going to be made in the future.

I think, If all the hype about Pac's heart no longer being in the sport to be true, then Arum is just thinking that worse case, he's passing the torch to Marg. I honestly think Arum likes Marg, and for whatever reason would much rather have his fighters lose to someone in his own stable then let someone else have a shot at it.
