Why did Mosley QUIT after round 2 vs. Mayweather?

Mosley wasn't on his typical Steroids when he fought Mayweather, thats why.

Mosley gassed out early in the fight, cause he wasn't "juiced-up" with EPO Steroids/Hormones for the Mayweather fight, the way he was for the Margarito fight.

EPO can only br traced with blood tests within 44 hrs of use.
thats why Mosley couldn't use EPO for the Mayweather fight casue he was being randomly blood-tested for EPO days leading up to the fight.

When Mosley fought Margarito, he was able to use EPO and get away with it cause he was not tested for it.
thats why he had the fight moved from vegas to CA, cause Vegas was gonna test Mosley for EPO before fighting Margarito, so Mosley had his promoter-Oscar, move the fight from Vegas to CA, cause CA does not test for EPO, and Mosley did not get caught.

This is why Margarito tried to use plaster inserts, cause he and his Team, and the CA commission officials all knew that Mosley was on the stamina booster-EPO and was not gonna get caught.

Margarito tried to "level out the playing field", but could not, cause he got caught, and Mosley didn't get caught.

So what you're saying is.. a TRAINED athlete that prepares for months only to gas out after 2 rounds? Are you fu|ckin ******ed? How the F would Mosley gas out after 2 rounds when he didn't even get hit/hurt at all. EPO has nothing to do with it. A professional trained boxer that gets paid millions does/should not gas out after only 2 rounds

Because he was facing a fighter who has much superior skills to him. If Shane pressed the attack he would have been knocked out for the first time in his career fa sho. A more aggressive Shane means more opportunities for Mayweather to counter. Shane just didn't want to be embarassed to bad.

At first I did think there was something su****ious about the fight, but then after having to endure watching Mosley vs. Mora I realized Mosley is not the same guy, in the Mora fight he threw punches but missed most of them, and he even seemed reluctant to throw, like in the Mayweather fight, so yea I think he probably gassed out in the 2nd round.
I think Mosley's age has begun to caught up with him, it would be a shame to see him beat down by some guys that he would have been able to beat easily in his prime..

Shane gassed out because he was to anxious to land another big punch after he caught floyd. Its simple science folks when your anxious your heart beats faster and you breathe harder making you tire faster. But even if he didn't gas out floyd would have won. People talk about young shane and all this crap, but bottom line is floyd not prime floyd either if the floyd that fought Diego had fought Shane it would have been lights out for Mosley. That Floyd was just as accurate faster and threw combinations.

Shane isn't a fighter known for his adjustments, Floyd is. Look at his fights against Forrest or Winky, he never adjusted well, in this case he followed the same plan but Floyd figured him out.

I know what EPO is. There should be no reason why Mosley gasses out after only 2 rounds. If it was mid rounds 7-8 and I saw a decline.. then YES, I would've said he gassed. There is no reason for a boxer that trains for months only to gas out after 2 rounds he was winning and a near KO in the 2nd.
