Comments Thread For: Oleksiy Mazikin Wins Bigger's Better Boxing Tourney

It was a nice, coastal night at Coral Beach Hotel & Resort in Paphos, Cyprus, but surely not for eight men - partially professional boxers, partially glorified clubfighters and partially M M A masters - who gathered in a seashore paradise to define a winner of the second installment of a one-day tiny tournament, arranged tonight here by Bigger's Better Boxing Promotion. The first tournament took place also on Cyprus in May with Latvian Maris Briedis coming out as a sensational winner.

Nice to see Mazikin has won this.

He's been on the losing end of some difficult fights during the past year, against world-class opponents like JC Gomez and the underrated Ondrej Pala.

damn, and I watched every single fight.

all fights with the same referee. I couldnt believe my eyes. such a joke. in the final he was helping Orlov not to hold and pushing his hands away.

lol such a joke of a tourney.

the real winner shoulda been SARARA. the kid could box.

Orlov is strong and difficult to hurt, but has no boxing skills at all. He's horrible to watch and fights dirty in certain ways.

but that doesnt mean that the referee has to be his assistant..................

              I haven't seen it.

I've seen some of Orlov's other fights though, such as the one with Kubrat Pulev. I think Pulev was injured in that fight, he hasn't fought in a while. Before that one, he was fighting every month or so.

Of course Pulev was easily outboxing him, but Orlov was repeatedly warned for excessive holding/pushing/wrestling, twisting Pulev's arm and hitting the back of Pulev's head.

Pulev is God , now imagine Orlov and some others were fightin the same dirty way in this BULL**** tourney without really getting warned.

I hate crooked referees more then robberies.
