I respect Teddy for what he's doing making him a better fighter, but no matter what the brothers are still going to tax that ass.

The problem is that Povetkin is week physically, considering that he fought around 215 in the amateurs, he should be able to fight easily around 226,but he feels too much the weight and loses everything. He is only effective around 220,anything above that is killing him, also because he doesn't have a good nutritionist and a conditioning coach who can take him physically to the other level. The only fight where he looked a little bit solid, still nothing special with too much body fat around his waist was against Nolan when trained in the USA.
Bottom line, this guy needs a good nutritionist and a good conditioning coach who can make him ripped with 226.I only saw this guy in decent shape against Nolan when he worked with an American conditioning coach.
He needs to stay with Atlas the whole year, every time he gets to Russia without Atlas he becomes fatter and soft which means he is not following the same routine all the time.
Finally his progression as a fighter in the pros has been very small which means he was already near his limit in the amateurs.
He needs to feel some pain to realize this sport is not a joke,i would recommend Michael grant who made Adamek look bad.
Then Tony Thompson, if he can get through these guys he will be able to put a good fight against Wladimir.Sometimes fear and good competition can take you to the other level and make you learn faster and correct your mistakes.Povetkin needs a lesson in a real fight situation.
He knows boxing is not a joke man, he is one of the most decorated amateurs ever, gold medal, multiple world championships. He is ready now in terms of experience, he is not ready mentally and you can thank Atlas for that. You went from a guy that was beating Donald, Byrd, and Chambers in his first 10-14 pro fights to a guy fighting and old Seldon in an exhibition (or whatever the hell that was), Sykes and Orukh (whatever his name was). He is 31 and he just passed on a $2.5 million payday - WTF???? Atlas killed all his confidence, I am sure he the confidence back in 2008 but Atlas ****** it all out.
