It's impossible to say whether Andre is legitimately injured or not (though many have already made up their minds as to the veracity of his claims), but it's equally impossible to say to say that it was the illegal punch that did all the damage. It could just have easily been caused by a legitimate punch in the fight, such as the one that put him down in the tenth and had full weight and rotation behind it, or any other number of punches he took in subsequent fights or even in sparring. Yes, what AA did was wrong, but he was already punished for it was a DQ and the first loss of his career. The fact that Andre, his brother and his team, are making such a big deal of the illegal shot, and calling for AA to be suspended, thrown out of the tournament etc is really starting to reflect badly on them, given that Andre's rep among most boxing fans has already taken quite a hit.
i dunno about that. anthony's a completely different fighter. he doesnt fight like his brother and doesnt share the same temperament. he looks to put a hurtin on his opponents and is willing to take more risks to do so.
unlike andre, anthony comes to fight.
and i dont think hes scared of any man, hes already beaten death.
i like anthony, but he shouldve just kept his mouth shut about this situation.
