        outrageous demands huh

how much more did he ask for exactly? he had to call for a purse bid in order for khan to even consider giving him more money....

Yeh agree with the bit in bold but you can't say Khan doesn't have skills. That KO was because of poor prep and lack of respect for the other fighter. As you say most at jr welter would have been cut down with that big looping punch but Khan had no idea it was coming because he underestimated BP and hadn't prepared properly (I'm not saying he wasn't in shape but it's common knowledge they had very little footage of BP).

Khans wins this fight for me by UD or possibly a late stoppage. He'll have to be mobile and I think most importantly having his timing spot on as I think the key to winning will be to counter punch Maidana as he is often open after throwing. Khan have to be very careful on the inside. If I were Maidana I'd fight dirty on the inside, rough Khan up but I wouldn't come in the 1st couple of rounds throwing his big looping shots that Khan will be prepared for. I'd try and stay mobile (although he's not got great footwork). Trade with Khan but surprise him, don't come on all guns blazing and lead him into a false sense of security. Maybe even lose the 1st couple of rounds too Khan before going through the gears leading into the middle rounds for a stoppage. I guess there are endless scenarios you could go thorugh though and thats what makes this one a cracker.....Khan by UD or late stoppage.

i agree with both of your comments..

yes there is so many scenarios that may play out in this one.. but i also feel we could all be surprised and maidana could get ko'd early on!! people really under estimate khans punching power..the guys got a 70% ko ratio which is identical to ortiz, khans stlye means that he moves around quite a bit so doesnt sit down on his punches but even then is more then effective in stunning the guy and eventually putting him over with a combination of 4 or 5 punches BUT when he actually sits down on them he hits even harder!-if you look at salita and another french guy khan ko'd years ago youl see that he really can hurt you. plus i viewed the fight againt corley and maidana actually got rocked a few times almost like he was out on his feet at points and ready for the taking. iv checked out maidana fight career on box rec and if you look at the people hes fought and ko'd, ALOT of them had losing records and continued to lose after they fight him..

khan and maidana also share a mutual opponent named lazlo komathi but maidana fought this guy in his 19th pro fight while khan fought him in hi 7th!!! pro fight which says something about the way they have been brought up..im thinking alot of those ko's arent as good as they may seem

He said he looked chubby and overweight, hardly childish.

This trainer is acting like khan is his daddy and wanting to prove something
