Lewis wasn't "over the hill" when he got his ass whooped by Vitali.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis/Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age"

In an interview right before the Vitali fight, Lewis said "I'm at the peak of my powers, I will keep fighting for a few more years"

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

Bunch of children in here. Neither man dominated the other. It was just a great fight, probably the last truly great HW fight. Get over it and appreciate it for what it was.

If the fight wasn't stopped when it was, Vitali's eye damage could have been a lot worse than it was, he could have been blinded, you never know. He may have been ahead on the cards but it's irrelevant when a cut is that bad that is caused by punches and not a head butt. Fact is, a past his prime Lennox beat up the younger hungrier fighter with severe punches and that's all there is too it.
