Chagaev was the best available opponent excluding his brother. Chambers was one of the best available also and I believe he was the mando. Opponents like Peter and Chisora are symptomatic of the rest of the division (Haye, Povetkin etc) being shook by Wlads prior performances.

Chagaev is better than anyone on Haye's resume.

Chambers is better than anyone on Haye's resume.

Peter is better than anyone on Haye's resume.

        True.

No Haye fans gonna argue against this?

I give 7/10 to Wlad but it is no his fault Haye is being a *****.

Ruslan Chagaev was a top 5 HW; world champion in both pros and amateurs; had never been down before; prime age: 9.5

Chambers was a top 5 heavyweight; had never been down before; has world-class skills; prime age: 9.5

Sam Peter was ranked in the top ten by BoxRec and IBO; is a former world champion; prime age: 8

          Average of those three: 9

Chisora although undefeated and never been down, is less proven (he just has a win over the faded Williams and two over Sexton, plus some quality amateur achievements) so I give him just a 6 out of 10.
