BS I have knocked people out and seen people get KO'd in hard sparring sessions. All that head gear really does is protect you from cuts and a little blunt trauma.

I think you're directing your response at the wrong guy. I never said head gear makes you non-susceptible to knockouts, I just stated you can knock someone out with a liver shot.
