I am with you on the catchweight thing, Martinez should be allowed to defend his titles at the limit of the weight class he is champion in.

But with that said, at the minimum... this catchweight will not effect either fighter at all nor the outcome of the fight... Martinez is a blown up 154lber anyway..

His attitude has gotten a little more confident and ****y in the last year or so, but the dudes a fighter... if he doesn't have that, then he's ****ed.

At least he doesn't act like Floyd.

I mean more his attitude in negotiating this fight. Acting like hes some big star now. Demanding more than 50%, demanding catchweights. Saying he wont let anyone make a name off him....the ***? Same ***** hes been crying about his whole career.

Come on man... you can't fault a man for playing hard ball in negotiations. That's the name of the game... ask for more than you think you'll get so that you end up getting what you'll realistically get.

Nobody should walk into a negotiation "hopeful"...

But, he signed the contract didn't he? They came to an agreement right?

This isn't Floyd 2.0... where everytime the other side concedes, he comes up with something new, and ends up signing nothing..

Or like Haye... who talks and talks and talks and talks, and never fights.

So Williams came in negotiations looking to play hardball and get the most he could get.

        But he signed right?

We're about to watch this rematch in a month... and it's going to be one of the best fights of the year.

I mean choose your battles bro... some dudes rightfully deserve the hate.. other guys, might annoy you here and there... but ultimately they sign the damn contract, and they give you all your moneys worth.

Those are the guys to support.

Last time I checked, Williams WON the fight. Should he not be entitled to more than 50%?
