Comments Thread For: Golovkin vs Rubio Clash on November 25 in Panama?

There are rumors circulating in Mexico that Marco Antonio Rubio (48-5, 41KOs) could get a shot at the "regular" WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (19-0, 16KOs) on November 25 in Panama. Rubio has won five in a row, with four by knockout, since losing to Kelly Pavlik last February.

I've been hoping that Golovkin will fight again this year. He will easily defeat Rubio.

That would be quite an accomplishment. I don't believe Rubio threw one punch vs. Kelly Pavlik.

Golovkin got a title handle to him, he is no champ, and even though rubio is not what he was he is a step in comp for Golovkin

Golovkin hasn't proven himself against any top tear contender, Rubio is still able to win a big fight, this fight would tell alot about an amature champ in the big time pro level.

Golovkin should KO Rubio pretty easily, but it's good he's staying active while he chases Sturm, probably to no avail
