I read an article on here that said Briggs and his team asked the ref to not stop the fight if he was taking a beating, because this would probably be his last shot at a title.

Well the ref is British, they have a tendancy to let fights go on way too long, but usually it's only in an attempt to benefit a British fighter against a foreigner. Not sure what this Limey's angle was.... maybe he is just used to not stopping fights and letting beatings get out of hand.

But this isn't the worst referee ever, this guy is:

FF to 7:00 mins to see a ref help a fighter get up after a knockdown, then after realizing that he was completely KTFO let the fight go on for 2 more knockdowns anyway.

Also, notice what a heatless piece of **** trainer Uli Wegner is just standing on the ring apron watching his fighter getting ****ed up but refusing to throw in the towel.
