This is pretty true. Here in Mexico for those without cable, they get the big matches on free network TV but the fights are always at least one hour late and they never show the undercard unless a Mexican is fighting which is bull****. There is a big fan base for Boxing but we only take what it's shown to us. I have a hard time talking about boxing with the average viewer because they know so little of the current boxing scene.
I can also see boxing failing on US network TV, not because it can't succeed but because the promoters will throw together some weak low budget card with mismatches and no hype.
