No one else was willing to face Wlad. Also, I don't see anything wrong with racking up title defense after title defense, against top opponents and lessor opponents who may have name recognition. Wlad is gonna be around in 3 years still fighting and beating the top guys. I don't see a problem with him occasionally fighting an opponent who isn't in the top ten...
