Roach, just like most superstar trainers and coachers is overrated. Manny Pacquaio is a phenom. The reality is, Pac is in the position he's in because he's a great fighter he's been moved perfectly. I think the guy in Pac 's camp Kontz said it in the last 24/7. If Roach wasn't Pac's trainer, he'd probably still be arguably the best fighter in the world. If Roach never trained Pac, its very doubtful that he'd be considered boxing royality. Its not a shot on Roach, its just a brutally honest statement that won't sit with those who worship everything Manny Pacquaio.

exactly roach is nothing but a good matchmaker.anybody name a fighter that roach trained from scratch that became world champ **** i will even let yall throw in the mma fighters he has trained. every single fighter he trained from scratch amounted to **** so yes roach is overrated.

FREDDY does what it takes to max his fighters chances but, alot depends on the fighter and what happens outside the gym and the news reporting, Mendoza's take on Freddy is narrow at best.

Roach is over-rated. He is a product of media hype just like Pac is. They're both watered down bull****.

He's just a boxing agent. He's like Koncz. Handled 22 Wold Champions? Yes but that doesn't give you any weight in your opinion on whos overrated. Maybe I'll give him some credit if he himself trained them 22 World Champions.
