The current world champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC) at middleweight, Argentine Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez, is training in full swing in California for his anticipated rematch against Paul Williams on November 20 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. BoxingScene.com/NotiFight.com visited Martinez at the Power House Gym which is near the city of Oxnard, north of Los Angeles, to talk about his rematch with Williams, and other topics.

Definitely looking forward to this fight. Paul Williams wins again by another narrow decision IMO. I just think Paul Williams has a boxing IQ and physique that makes it very difficult for a guy like Sergio to overcome. Should be as exciting as the first one or even more!

omg Sexy Sergio is talking about my boy Amir.

"Khan is one of the best in the world"

ofcourse he is gonna say that his best wishes are with Maidana because he is from the same country. But I believe that deep inside he is rooting for Amir.

I'm one of the biggest PDub fans out there dating back to his fight with Margarito and just how excited he was to even have that opportunity; nothing but smiles on his face on this loose as a goose confidence that he was gonna work Margs over. Once the bell rang, for about 7 rds he peppered Margs with varying speeds on that jab and looked the part, especially with that "physique" you mentioned above and God given attributes for the welter division and hydrating up to smw to boot. But my question is, where in the world do you come up with PDub having this overwhelming "boxing IQ"? I think if anything the IQ he demonstrated against Cheato has done nothing but regress over the last couple of years. He doesn't fight tall when getting countered, moves back in straight lines, little to no head movement, tries to 'squat the toilet' like a Sweat P Whitaker but just winds up getting caught, doesn't vary his jab speeds anymore, telegraphs his left cross, and the list goes on and on. Again, I'm deeply curious as to how you derive at Paul having any kind of advantage in the boxing IQ dept especially against the likes of Sergio part 2?

Martinez really wants Margarito, unfortunately it's too remote to happen.

But who knows, if Marg win or lose, he might get that rematch, it's still compelling stuff and fightfans are gonna be interested.
