I dont think these guys are just trying to hype this fight,it's more like managing expectations.People dont want to see a sub par Pacquiao,they want the best Pacquiao fighting a bigger opponent.You dont hype a fight by saying the fighter is looking scrappy.Things aint right in camp and Pacquiao's ass will get screwed.He would still have been screwed even if he was at his best.His only chance of winning would be telling Margarito to come in at 140,that way he would win.

Pacquiao is not a very good fighter neither is he technical.The guy is the most basic boxer I have ever seen,same move all the time.I will tell you he cant beat Berto,he cant beat Mosley,Mayweather nor Williams.He needs someone who stays in one place while he moves around.

Pac is flawed but also is technical. Not many can throw the shots he throws at that speed, or even if they are slower, at those combinations

Pac has timing, sets up his shots, has body and head movement, has great footwork and all sorts of angles

then pac gave khan fits in the next 2.

ronnie missed the better part of the day's sparring, after the ariza interview.
tapia next sparred with pac for 3 rounds after amir's 4.
pac bloodied tapia's nose even with 16-oz globes.

One thing that can't be denied about Pac's pre-fight training is the quality of sparring they bring to his camp year in year out. What fighter wouldn't want to sparr with Pac anyway? young fighters like Vanes and Khan can learn a lot from it. I really hope Tony is not overtraining, he looks like a monster right now, he could literally fight this weekend but theres still about a month left to the fight.
