Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. says that he plans to travel this week to Los Angeles, California to start the toughest stage of his preparation for the December 4 meeting with Alfonso Gomez at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Chavez will come together with trainer Freddie Roach, conditioning coach Alex Ariza, Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.

i do belive he is training hard in culiacan in his recent interviews he doesnt look fat at all the running 8 miles well i sure he does but in L.A he will do them on HILLS.

Gomez will rip Junior a new one. Arum sees this fight as a test for Chavez and he is correct. Alfonso must try to get the TKO or KO because the decision cards are stacked against him. After Dec. 4 Junior will be making plans for the spring but they won't include Cotto. He and his people see this as a tune-up. Wrong!
