let's say after he beat hatton, he stayed there and whooped everybody. would he still have the same super star status he has today?

As long as he beat Oscar, I'd pretty much have to think so.

Cotto and Clottey is more of a threat than anybody at jr. welther so I would have to say maybe no.

Maybe. Only because JWW is a loaded division today.

But if we go by the scenario after he beat Hatton, the answer IMO would be clear NO. We only got Bradley at that time, all the rest of the major JWW players today were just highly touted prospects back then.

            exactly what i was thinking...

although beating oscar in that fashion would certainly make him a known figure in boxing, the jr. ww roster at that time was not as good as it is today

I dont know why ppl think the Oscar win was a big deal. He beat a NAME. An old , inactive , drained DLH.

I think his wins over Clottey and Cotto are more than anybody at 140.

ppl say Cotto was shot , But as a fan of his I say BS , Pac beat a good version of Cotto. And he toyed with a very good opponent in Clottey. The same Clottey that beat Judah , the same Judah which would still give some of the top jr welterweight hell.

                obviously yes

he already captured his 4th lineal (record) then prob. defend it by cleaning out the division

It's possible. Potentially, he could have been a bigger star in a shorter amount of time.
