    Erdei can still make 175...

He sould fight at light heavyweight not cruiserweight, he'd do well against Tavoris Cloud and Beibut Shumenov.

      What's your point?

Your boy Bute will never be the lineal champ at 168 or 175 no matter how many consecutive easy fights he wins.

Pascal and Dawson don't hit any harder than Erdei.

When was the last time either one of them stopped a world class opponent?

The only thing featherfisted around here is your ****** ass comment.

I highly doubt he hits as hard as either of them, his CW title win was pretty good but other than that not much else anyone can say to credit him.

ur idea for montreal is good though...but panda thinks cloud and shumenov would both go to montreal to fight pascal as well if he beats hopkins...the dude has a growing fanbase. just look at hopkins...he never fights across US borders but he was willing to fight pascal on his home turf from the get go

I haven't checked the ranking in awhile, but for the longest time Erdei and Cleverly were #1 and #2 in the WBC top 10 and a eliminator between the two men seemed imminent.

However, I think Erdei would be smarter to pursue a fight with Shumenov if at all possible because A) He would win easily and would gather a belt as a bargaining chip against Pascal or Cloud. B) Shumenov would likely be the easiest champ to get into the ring as he seems to only desire big fights and C) The fight would take place in America, probably Las Vegas, but Erdei would not have to deal with a home crowd as he would if he fought Cloud in Chicago or Pascal in Montreal. (Or Cleverly in the UK for no belt for that matter)

              I like Erdei.

              He's pretty skillful.

It would be nice to see him take on a challenge for a change.

He's had it too easy in Germany.

Maybe now he's changed his mind about taking on challenges, as his legacy didn't appear to bother him too much in the past.

Erdei is a natural 168 lb'er who has won titles at 175 and 200lbs. He was lineal champ at 175 like it or not.

If you want to pretend that nothing fine.

He won the Cruiserweight Title weighing in at 178lbs, nobody in the history of the division has won a belt weighing in at a weight that low. He was also sick going into the fight but told to get into the ring or get ****ed by his promoter. It was a FOTY performance, one of the gutsiest of the year, against a man 20lbs bigger than him and accustomed to the weight.

Manny Pac makes guys lose extra weight and come in at a catchweight for his own benefit.

Zsolt Erdei gives up 20lbs and says "**** you i'll whoop your ass!".

He's not the first Universum fighter to have his career mismanaged in the same of safety for the investors. They never liked Erdei because he was a Hungarian and not a German, their only desire was to milk him with easy wins and hold onto the belt until a Kraut came along.... and it happened... and they forced Erdei to vacate.... now that's ****ed up. How can a guy make a name for himself when his own promoter hangs him out to dry when he has never lost a fight?

He is one of the growing number of them who seem to be determined to get free from them and make a name for themselves.

Dzinziruk is another one they screwed over.

They did give Erdei the shaft in favor of what's that clowns name, Braehmer.

You know back in the day, I used to make fun of Erdei for his soft touches, but when I heard the same story you told, I began to understand.

Then when you see him fight, he definitely has all the tools to be among the best. He's smart, crafty, can punch a little, and take a shot.

Fine I was aware of all that but his opposition for the most part has been pretty weak and he has alot to prove if he finally wants to be considered one of the best.
