    Boxing Gym (Documentary) trailer

This has probably been posted before.

Boxing Gym is a documentary about Lord’s Gym. It’s a touching and happy film that will make you smile and warm your heart. This film is directed by Frederick Wiseman and will be released on October 22, 2010 on a limited release, so it will only be released in New York. If you want to see it and don’t live in New York you can always see the film when it comes out on DVD.

Boxing Gym is about Lord’s Gym, which was founded by Richard Lord sixteen years ago. Richard Lord was a professional boxer and he opened the place so that professionals or just anyone could work out and get fit. Lord’s Gym is a place where everyone can work out and get together to talk. It’s been often referred to as the perfect example of a melting pot of different races, ages and walks of life. This looks like a very interesting film that will send a very important message that will be good for everyone to see.

It looks like a documentary that most people on this board can relate to.

I think Richard Lord is the same guy training Kirkland for his comeback fight.

He was slimmer then I thought he would be, probably about 162. He did 6 rounds of sparring. He was getting hit quite a bit and was dead tired after the fifth round. But that was only his second sparring session after getting out of prison.
