I think he wanted a big payday. I don't think he was crazy. Jones is a big talker & he brags a little too much about himself. Even today he still talks big after being knocked out in his last 2 fights.

Is that why he chose not to fight Nigel Benn of feat that same thing would happend to him ? If that is the case he should retire right now, two knocksout in a row is not healthy I do not know of any other World champion this happend to.

And if he does win SO WHAT ? We all knew Tarver was nothing special

That would've been an interesting fight, Roy would just box him all night and back out of every danger, at the time he wanted to fight Tyson is when Tyson stopped throwing combos and such so he figured an easy huge payday
