Dress it up all the way you want, but Vitaly will be best remebered for loosing against Lennox. And deep down you know it...

If Floyd was cruising towards a UD and quit on his stool, when all he needed to do was stand their for the rest of the fight, what would you call Floyd....
What you say is true only because Lewis retired and would'nt fight him again.

I remember that fight. Hopkins' injury was a little suspect. But Hopkins did redeem himself in the rematch. I am not a huge fan of Hopkins. He's an all time great, but I found him boring to watch. Cintron, however, is not great, and had several strange fights. The phantom headbutt by Sergio Martinez being one of them.

And that my friend, is why we suspect Cintron of being flightless bird that tried to fly away in the Paul Williams fight.

In hopkins prime, he completely dismantled his opponents. Look at the scorecards during his 10+ year reign as MW champ. he hardly ever lost a round. Now that he's older, things are a little different. He had to change his fighting style, become more and more defensive and his punch out put is very low to conserve energy.

Hopkins fought like a pvssy against Jones in the rematch. Even after all the talk about redemption. People act like he dominated Jones or something. Jones looked way fresher than B-Hop did.
Hopkins was also what? 44 years old? Hopkins looked his age in that fight, there is no secret about it.

Calzaghe got ****** into his talk and actually came to fight but B-Hop wanted no part of it. What does that tell you.
Hopkins at 43 years old cannot keep up with fighters with high work-rates. That's a fact. The game plan was to tie joe up, slow down the pace and cut his work-rate in half. And it damn near almost got him the victory but he ran out of steam at the end of the fight.

So while it was ugly to watch, it was the correct game plan against a guy like Calzaghe who's best weapon is his work-rate. A 43 year old cannot match that kind of work-rate (100 punches per round). It's just not physically possible.

He looks like that in almost every fight when he's lying on the ground pretending that he was hurt from an illegal punch.

At least Wlad comes to fight. B-Hop comes to spoil. In any other country other than the US they would'nt condone that BS. You guys act like holding, wrestling and acting like your being hit illegal (because thats the only way you can win) is a respectable thing. Do you see the Hypocrisy going on here? You act like Wlad is some ***** because he ties up and uses his advantages. Meanwhile B-Hop does all that **** to the fullest way worse than Wlad. But Wlads a puss and B-Hops the man? OK I see you clowns are just str8 up hatin. Pain and simple. Being a hater is worse than eating babies and raping nuns.

                    LOL sure dude.

Who said it's respectable? Hopkins acted way to much against Jones and it was unnessary as he was easily winning the fight. Hopkins admitted he was catching a breather. Is it right? Nope. I think it's just because hopkins is old and gets fatigued and does what he can to get some rest.

What you're doing though is picking things on what hopkins has done recently, as an old man, and lump that over his entire career. Did you even watch hopkins in his prime? He destroyed opponents other than Roy Jones. He was offensive minded.

You obviously didn't even catch this because I did exactly what you were doing - I picked the KO losses from Wlad EARLIER in his career, when he wasn't prime. Is that fair on Wlad? Nope but I'm using your logic. Hopkins is not prime, he hasn't been prime for a long time now. When he lost to taylor, he was already 40 years old. He's not the same fighter as he was in his prime, NOR is Wlad the same fighter that he was back then (he's improved).

I didn't say ***** about Wlad other than him getting KO'd and he shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Hopkins when it comes to legacy/resumes.

                      Maybe in your mind.

I guess you'd rank him higher if he started calling out the guys in the Super 6.
