really angry aboutwhat happened to shannon briggs

This is two fights in the space of a month that have been a disgrace imo.

First was the enzo debacle, which was purely the refs fault, and now this.

Shannon showed himself to be gracious in defeat, which makes me very worrid for him, if he gets any neurological damage then i will be really pissed off with the current way boxing is ran.

DEspite all the big fights not happening surely boxing could aty least protect the fighters.

I hope he makes a swift recovery...

You can't be angry about a fighter fighting. Boxing is a dangerous sport, and fighters realize this when they enter into the sport. I can't imagine why it would be the ref's fault for Briggs being a bit of a delusional man in regards to his preparation and his chances and accepting the fight and then weathering the storm for 12 rounds and taking the beating he did. In contrast, he showed a lot of heart by not quitting.

I was angry with his corner. Every round after the 9th round and all the bone crushing damage He received was unnecesarry and we still don't know what the damage will be in the future.

A boxer will always tell you NO, don't stop the fight, but its the responsability of his corner to throw the towel when there's nothing to gain and everything to loose.

His corner should stand in front of Vitali and eat right hands for a round as punishment.

Unless the ref a d the corner was trying to get Briggs killed, they were blinded.
