Giovanni Segura KO 8 Ivan Calderon (WBA/WBO Jr Flyweight)

Julio Cesar Chavez UD 12 Hector Camacho (WBC Light Welterweight)

Felix Trinidad TKO 12 Fernando Vargas (WBA/IBF Jr Middleweight)
Wilfredo Gomez TKO 5 Carlos Zarate (WBC Super Bantamweight)
Wilfredo Gomez TKO 14 Lupe Pintor (WBC Super Bantamweight)

Now lets discuss why these fights are so noteworthy...
I think this is the final list of The Most Significant Fights between Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters. Does anyone disagree?

Some might question Chavez vs Rosario, but that was one of the great Mex vs PR match-ups of the rivalry. Chavez moved up to challenge the late great Puerto Rican Bomber for the WBA Lightweight Title in a fight that many thought Rosario could KO Chavez.

Quit being dramatic...since I consider myself a fair individual, lets have a vote as to whether the fights you mentioned are considered among the most significant and important fights between Mexican and Puerto Rican fighters.

So everyone, do the following fights deserve to be rated up there with Margarito vs Cotto and Trinidad vs De La Hoya??? And if so, on what grounds, explain...

Trinidad vs Campas: Yes or No

Camacho vs Limon: Yes or No

                  .........Why?

Limon already had 12 losses when Camacho fought him...

                  Campas? Really?

Margarito vs Santos was stopped early as Tony was coming on. Don't even bring this one up.
