If Paul Williams is telling the truth that he is willing to fight good oponents then this is the right moment. Paul Williams should accept Vanes Martirosyan challenge and show the world that he is willing to slug it out with fighters his own size.

paul williams is cool but why does he insist on fighting smaller men than himself?the money ok there is also big money in the supermiddleweight divison and there is no guarantee he will become a big superstar if he ends fighting mayweather or pacquiao.

i don't think thats a good move, maybe money wise, but health and record wise, i don't believe williams will be effective at 17 anymore, it's been a while since he's been there and will be bone dry at fight time........ making a ko loss much more probable.....

I would certainly think Williams wouldnt be very effective or healthy at 17lbs thats for damn sure

He has two very good options, one of them being a virtual guarantee, in regards to fighting either Pac or May. He becomes a superstar and gets paid, or if as you put it, he doesn't become a superstar...guess what? He still gets paid. I'll take those odds any day.

the thing is, manny got dissed on for fighting delahoya for coming 2 weight divisions to fight him. its no different if p williams have to come down 2 weight division to fight pac.

why some people disapprove for fight delahoya at welterweight, but yet the same people would welcome a pac/p williams fight at welterweight.

pac's catchweight fights have been totally exagerated...oh sure, da delahoya was a scam, a circus, a fantasy fight more than a real fight, but still, most people thought delahoya would beat pac...but changed their tune when pac destroyed delahoya...changed their tune from "delahoya too big" to "delahoya weight drained"

then the catcweight for cotto only required cotto to come down 1 pound from his official weigh-in of 146 downto 145...the thing is, cotto basically weighed about the same as he normally does on fight night..

thats 2 catchweight, one (delahoya) was a circus/super fight, wasnt even considered a real welterweight fight...so you can disregard that as a catchweight...and that fight wasnt even for a belt....the other (cotto), depending on the time that the weigh-in had to take place, probably just had to skip breakfast or lunch to make the weight...

the other catchweight is against margarito, both fighters couldve fought at 147 (no catchweight), but decided to fight for a belt at jr middleweight/150...shouldnt be a big deal for margarito who fought as a welterweight most of his career and had his first jr middleweight fight just a few months ago...if pac can move up and down and up and down and up, and up in weight...who's to say margarito cant do it?

people forget that pac went up in weight to fight delahoya, then back down to fight hatton, then back up to fight cotto, then defended against clottey, now going up again against margarito...AGAIN, IF PAC CAN GO UP 2 DIVISIONS (DELAHOYA), THEN BACK DOWN (HATTON), THEN BACK UP AGAIN (COTTO AND CLOTTEY)...WHY IS IT A BIG DEAL FOR MARGARITO TO MOVE UP FROM WELTERWEIGHT TO JR MIDDLEWEIGHT, THEN A CATCHWEIGHT THAT IS STILL WITHIN THE DIVISION WEIGHT RANGE...ITS NOT LIKE MARGARITO HAVE TO GO ONE FULL DIVISION DOWN

Williams is making sense. Their is no doubt that miguel cotto or jennings didn't want some of him. Looking foward to is next fight!!!!!!!
