Briggs DID NOT have Lewis is trouble.

Lewis was off balance and fell back against the ropes. He then covered up.

Lewis then dominated the fight against a young, competitive Briggs.

This makes the Vitali - Briggs fight look like its in slow motion.

This proves that the Briggs that fought Vitali was a shot fighter.

Lewis laid the blueprint on how to beat briggs

Lewis discovered early in the fight that he could land the overhand right all night and destroyed Briggs. Vitali just continued from where Lewis left off. He started strong connecting with the right and threw Briggs off balance. Even after all these years Briggs still hasn't learned to defend against this punch.

how often in the history of the heavyweight division were young contenders touted to be better when they were old contenders because of how weak the division was?

I honestly didnt even remember this fight, but after watching the video, its obvious that he did have him in trouble. He landed a hook that sent him into the ropes and then hit him again and sent him of balance. This all happened and Lewis only covered up and didnt punch back
