    24/7 In Canada (Vancouver)

So I was on the HBO Canada website, and on their monthly schedule it doesn't look like they will be airing 24/7 on their channel. Does anyone here know what channel 24/7 is usually on in Vancouver, BC? I usually just watch it online the day after it airs live, but if anyone knows what channel it airs on I would be very grateful.

HBO Canada is pointless. They show the same **** over and over that nobody wants to watch. They never show the 24/7's and they wonder why a day before the fight people still don't know about it. They usually put all the 24/7's on in a row on Score network a day before the fight. Usually though they won't schedule it on the cable guide. It will just come up in the guide as To be Announced. Don't you know that if your Canadian your expected to be a UFC fan only? If your a UFC fan you get the **** crammed down your throat 20 time a day. They start advertizing that **** 3 months ahead. It's sad that 95% of Canadians don't know that we have world champs in Canada. If you walked up to the average person and asked about Bute or Pascal they would'nt have a clue what your talking about. I tell people all the time that I'm a boxer and they always come back with "oh really! you do that UFC fighting stuff". Boxing and Canada don't go together for some reason. Shaw Cable and Bell etc are only pushing UFC. They've missed so many big fights over the past year that they could've hyped and that turned out to deliver. But they did'nt.

Couldn't agree with you more. Especially here in Vancouver, MMA is apparently the only combat sport available to the consumer. That being said, Montreal is apparently a really good boxing city with appreciative fans. But yeah, outside of Montreal, there's just no room for boxing. I bet the only boxing fans in Canada are the Filipinos in Toronto and Vancouver, and there are a lot of them here let me tell ya.

And by Filipino "boxing" fans, I mean they're mostly Pacquiao fans. Not that there's anything wrong with supporting your national hero.

HBO Canada is almost worthless when it comes to boxing. If you wanna see 24/7 and the other 80% of fights you gotta steal american satellite.
