No great black hope, why?

In the 70's and 80's in the heavyweight division blacks ruled. And white contenders were the butt of every joke, like gerry cooney. They were called " the great white hope " or nope.

Now the K bros rule the division as good or better but there is very little talk of a "great black hope". Why? Reverse racism much?
