I personally think roy jones, but i dont think that hes in a league of his own
you don't think he's in a league of his own?! roy jones jr. began to completely throw away fundamentals and still hit people with every punch in the book with genius speed, power, timing AND placement.
i don't know why manny pacquiao is even in the conversation but much of "prime" mayweather's offense was set-up by jabs, which led to left hooks and, eventually, straight rights.
pacquiao's offense is set-up mostly by footwork which leads to advantageous angles for his southpaw style and a long jab to set-up that straight left.
roy jones jr. didn't use his jab. he often jumped right to left hooks (that could end the fight in the first round, btw) and set-up much of his offense off of feints. which means that he would test his opponents reaction to his movements and catch them with FLUSH lead straight right hands (a boxing no-no) as soon as he saw the opening.
