You really don't know what an Asian is then.

wow, ignorant ****** of the day...so is an Indian guy also middle eastern???, im bengali which is part of the sub continent of South Asia, and its hilarious when ignorant fools see your skin to be brown and automatically equate you to be middle eastern arab, grab a book and educate yourself..as far as im concern hes a Brit of South Asian decent...

You know the Khans were Mongols from Mongolia in Asia so its an Asian name doofus?

              Genghis Khan:

Lotta racial mixing going on when the Khans started spreading their wings.

Also its highly unlikely Amir Khan has any Arab blood in him so is not Middle Easter. He is more likely to have Persian ancestry than anything else.

obvious culture difference going on here.

                  rightly or wrongly....

asian in the uk is usually used in reference to pakistani/****ladeshi/indian/sri lankan people
asain in the us is usually used in reference to chinese/japanese/pinoy etc.

although all of the above races/nationalities fall under the same continental term.

In the US Asian was usually said Chinese but became East asian.

Indians, Pakistanis, Bengalis are known as South Asian for cultural reference.

                      British-Asian as many have said.

Nonetheless, he's far more British than he is anything else, due to the fact that he was born in England.
