I don't think that we should be "overly" concerned about RJJ, he still has some fight left in him. There is a 50/50 chance that he could get hurt in this fight, and the same probability exists for Tarver. We can take into consideration the last two fights, we can factor in Roy's layoff, we can factor in Tarver's not so "extremely" impressive showing versus Johnson, but, the truth is, we don't know what is going to happen until the fighters enter that 20 by 20 squared circle. Then and only then, can we truly weigh-in on either fighter's well-being.

How come everyone acts like Roy is going to be killed October 1st. People keep saying he is going to get seriously hurt and not be able to talk. How come? Does he have a brain injury? Did I miss somthing? If he doesn't then why does everyone keep saying this? They didn't say it for Tyson, Corrales, Castillo or hell even Tommy Hearns. But Roy Jones is at risk even though he was barley hit in the head his whole career. How does that work?

I think we will see the best Roy Jones that he can be at 36 years old come October 1st.
