Actually Golf pays the best. Care to rethink your silliness, matey?

As opposed to steroid free, non-nut shrivelled winners in the NFL.

We have drug testing in the NFL.

btw golf can only afford to pay a select few good money.

and basketball players can? I'd take any Kickboxer, MMA, Combat Sambo, Hockey, Rugby player before any Basketball or Football player in terms of them transitioning into Boxing and there are far more people in Europe doing those sports than the roughly 2000 Americans in the NFL & NBA.

Weightlifting and the other sports aren't combat ones (neither are the 2 american ones) but their body type and athleticism would make them just as likely as any football player and more likely than any scrawny basketball player trying to box.

NFL players are unathletic bums compared to Pro Golf players.

FYI Combat Sambo is basically MMA with headgear and shin guards. Ice Hockey > Football, Basketball.
it takes a special kind of athlete to play Football and Basketball though, the rest of those sports you can basically TRAIN and eventually become good in those sports, in Basketball it is no training to make you jump higher and in football it is no training that can make you run faster, those are things either you have or you don't, same for Baseball when it comes to pitches, Throwing a ball 90+ MPH is something you either have or your don't, you can't train yourself to throw 90+ MPH

You actually can train to jump higher. It's no coincidence that Olympic lifters possess the highest vertical jump relative to height of any athlete in the world. Speed can be increased too, though not to the same degree. Explosive endurance (which soccer players possess in droves) is much harder to improve, and is also one of the most useful traits for any boxer to have. But that can be improved as well. Nobody is born a champion.

lol anything americans play, especially when they're the only ones who play it like American Football are "special"

as i mentioned Weightlifters vertical jump > Basketball players.

Ice Hockey is more difficult than either of those you listed.

They're no more special than any other sport. Also didn't Japan beat you guys in Baseball and didn't your "dream teams" in basketball struggle and/or lose to countries like Greece, Bosnia Herzegovina, Argentina, Serbia, Puerto Rico the last decade?

The USA went almost 8 years without winning anything at international comp in basketball (until the 2008 olympics). You guys are great when competing at sports that only the USA plays like American Football.

I hear the sharp pop of a bubble bursting, then quickly being patched over with band aids.
