Just finished watching documentary on Roy Jones in the Olympics and..

I just want to say what a classy guy Roy is. I remember watching the fight when I was a little boy and I cried. Here is this 19 year old from Pensacola fighting his heart out representing his country, and he is robbed after outlanding his opponent with crisp shots by a 3 to 1 margin. The reason I say Roy is classy is he did something after this fight that I don't think the average person would have the heart to do. Knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was robbed, as did the rest of the world, he still went onto that platform and graciously accepted the silver medal. If that was me Id say " Go fuc* yourselves, keep your medal". But on the interview Roy said " I was dying inside. But i knew I was fighting for something bigger than myself, I was representing my country. So I forced myself up on that platform and accepted the silver". This is what kind of man Roy is. No matter what your opinion of him as a pro fighter, this is what I'll always remember about Roy Jones.

I highly respect Roy. We need more fighters like him. The guy will always be one of my favorite fighters of all time.
