this guy is tough as nails..he didnt do like kevin johnson and fight to survive..he fought to win and got beat donw brutally but never quit

He wasn't really stopped by Lewis either, he was off balance and the fight was stopped. The extra bulk has probably helped him absorb shots as well. It's a pity he didn't try to land a few bombs early, but credit to him for not quitting.

I just lost a bet with my brother. I said after the 7th that Briggs was getting KO'ed because he looked ready to go. Obviously, somehow, I lost.

That is one tough, sturdy mother****er. Fight should've been stopped though, there was no point in continuing it besides accumulating brain trauma.

He probably has brain damage now, was it worth it to go the distance with a guy he claims is the hardest and one of the more faster fighters he has fought? I mean I guess its something to have your name in the history books as someone that went the distance with Vitali but at what cost?
