Briggs was essentially a puncing bag for 12 rds. He kept getting caught with the right, never circled away from the right, showed no angles, didnt fire straight down the middle instead went for hooks that Vitali would catch with his shoulder.
Ref needed to stop the fight in RD10, hopefully Vitali fights Adamek and Solis next
man briggs always seems like an ******* but he earned his respect tonight
and yes i think vitali slowed down in the last round i dont think he cares much about his ko percentage
Props to Briggs for giving his best Raging Bull impression, "You never knocked me out, Vitali. You never knocked me out."
It's nothing to brag about, if Vitali wanted to hurt him he could have. I understand that trainers have this ''My fighter has pride'' belief but at the same time I find it cruel on the opposition when corners don't throw in the towel.
One hand you're thinking, if I take my foot off the pedal, he might get a few bright ideas in the other you're thinking if I keep smacking him around I might seriously hurt him.
