Gregory Benitez in this time would have much better resources to keep Wilfred in the gym and NO one could beat Benitez well trained.
The great welter only trained two weeks for his biggest fights and never trained more than 2 weeks for anyone.
Different times then. But IMO a well trained Benitez would of made the top ATG.

As much as I love Manny I’m going to have to go with a prime Benitez in this one, the man was a defensive wizard.

PAC would beat him. this is a no brainer. benitez wouldn't be able to handle the speed.

Pac by brutal KO!!! Benitez wouldn't have anything on Pac's superior footwork and blinding speed. Pac would KO him with a shot off an angle that Benitez wouldn't see. This is a no brainer.

Anyone see the recent AOL story on Benitez? Sad how things turned out for him, reminder of just how brutal and destructive boxing is.

Benitez, but not as confidently as anyone else from that era. I just think his defense that gave Leonard (likely faster than Pacquioa. If not, just as fact) trouble.
