Dudes a thug. Bernard may think he accomplished a lot and he may be right but he did it by being a dirty fighter. I will never like Bernard Hopkins and if I was him I wouldn't be so proud of how I accomplished my status.

alot of fighters have a little bit of thug in em, i give him credit for finding a positive outlet for his anger. ofcourse u are entitled not to like hopkins but u gotta respect the way he gained his status, u make it sound like he low blowed and rabbit punched his way to everything he did. he earned his status by taking on all comers at any time and place often on short notice. turned his life around and fought his way to the top on sheer guts and work ethic. the boxing politics tried to keep him down but he kept winning, becoming a legend not only by himself without the help of background chartacters but with the boxing establishment acctually working to keep him down. hes one of the hardest working and most dedicated fighters ever, thats something to be proud of.

HOP has never been on my top fighters list. He was a B+ middleweight who use club tricks down to his presentation. Masks, Xs and all, He's probably the most acomplished Club fighter in history.

cowards hide behind computer screens, not dirty tricks and certainly not mind games. mind games are a major part of the sport and not dirty at all. his headbutting, low blows etc arer obviously dirty, but i find nothing wrong with that. its a fight, if u can bend the rules in your favor why not? u came to win. BHop is A+ MW, one of the best ever in the weightclass. anyone who doesnt recognize that is plain hating. clubfighter? i dont think u know what a clubfighter is my friend, hopkins is a legend.

Hopkins is a legend. You don't get to where he's at by not being a great fighter. He used rough house tactics, but so what? You're in a fight. It's a part of the sport. The dude is smart in the ring.

LOL, B+ Middleweight and club fighter!? You sir are one of the biggest haters i've ever seen on here. To not like B Hop I could understand that, but to say he was a club fighter shows either you have no idea of what boxing is or you are letting your emotions get the best of you.
