Never said he didn't have skill. He's probably the most skilled of this era.. and one of the most skilled of all time. If only he proved it with ELITE competition and tested himself more.

You're leaving out the part where Mayweather is a former super featherweight, former Lightweight, former junior welterweight, former welterweight and former jr middleweight. Taking those bombs from some one who has been at that weight for longer than him. While Margarito has been a Welterweight for 15 years and is known for taking a punch. You Pac fans gotta give credit where it's due.

Floyd had already passed championship caliber tests when he dominated the super featherweight and lightweight division for 10 years. He paid his dues at the elite level while in the shadows of superstar Oscar De La Hoya.

Nowadays, whomever is most dominant and has a large following in his current division is whom he will try to make a match worth his time and trouble for the biggest pay day with. It's all about the economics of the business at the moment.

If by "testing himself more" you mean by seeing him fighting more often, then your concern is understandable.

Yes you are right, that's how to give credit. Give credit even if you've chickened out. Easy no-fight, easy credit.

I've taken a wait and see attitude about the whole thing like this:

Let's see who Pacquiao calls out after his victory over Margarito.

As far as the Nov. trial, he may or may not get off with a decent court appointed fine.

We'll have to wait and see won't we?

It still doesn't change the fact that Floyd fought an old Mosley that hadn't fought in a long time.

Floyd got hit with 2 shots in that fight,...... Briggs against Vitali, got hit with more than 2 shots in every round of their 12 rounder fight.
