well, if the odds were ONLY 4-1, that means Tyson would need a ****LOAD of money, put down, to get a big payoff.
If he's broke, he doesn't have the money to put down.

    Dumb ****, from some dumb **** Tyson-loonies.

If he got a wall street investor and told him "I'm throwing the fight, give me a cut for this info", I'm sure that there would be a ton of people who would throw money on decent odds like that.

Actually, at the place I bet it was 5.5-1

My dad right before the fight said just put $10 on McBride, and I said, "NO!!!! THERE IS NO WAY I COULD WIN!"

        I should've listened to him....

I made money on McBribe, but don't remember exactly how much. It was a gamble but at those kind of odds and the fact that he was 6'6 tall I thought it was an educated gamble.

Its possible Tyson threw the fight, but honestly I doubt it.

Inside the ring, it's always up to Mike.
He's so generous, he has now allowed 5 guys to knock him the **** out.
The heavyweight division dreads the day when Mike decides to WIN....

All he needs to do, besides get back with Rooney, is to trade that stubby-ass body for a bigger one.....& fill that empty hole where his heart should be..
& then he shall re-conquer the boxing world !

i can see mike betting lots of
                  money on himself against mcbride
then losing on purpose. it prolly
paid more to lose then to win against
mcbride. i can totally see how that
                  might be true.

Well, I've finally found the brain-washed moron of the boards, Mike Tyson, Jr.

It absolutely amazes me at the amount of hype and marketing that you've believed in regards to Tyson.

I strongly suggest you broaden your horizons in regards to boxing. I'd also suggest that next time someone posts a thread like this, you avoid it like the plague. I'll run out of adjectives to describe your boxing knowledge, or lack thereof, in a short time.

                    Dear God.

**** me am i one of the few sane tyson fans here, throwing fights my arse no half decent fighter would do that, tyson would never be that desperate, he had ago vs mcbride but he was still there when he shouldn't of been and tyson thought **** it i've had enough, he was out of shape a little bit for douglas only a little bodywise but mentally he wasn't their but who's fault is that, even though i believe he would of beat douglas if they ever fought again that, that night and every night ty has lost has been fair and square, **** me why can't people accept that, when he's been beat he's been beat
