how many fights have u two had? bcuz if u havent boxed yourselfs u dont really know what it takes to be a warrior and arent in a position to judge ppl.

its very easy to sit at a computer or in front of a TV and act like u would fight til the end and these ppl are soft, when your acctually in a fight and taking a beating round after round its a little different though.

the truth is most men couldnt take 1/10th of the beating those men took before qutting, you two are most likely included. so to dissrespect them is basicly dissrespecting yourselfs. i box amateur, even thats rough and takes balls. anyone who can be a top class professional is a very tough man who deserves respect at all times, even in humiliating defeat.

Yeah, you're 100% right. However, the boards are likely to disagree, unfortunately. The only ones who can talk crap about boxers are boxers themselves. Most people on here don't know what boxing is like, let alone a gym. Boxing...the only sport where the objective is to actually cause harm to your opponent...and some people wonder why sometimes your body gives out.

This is like the Dirrell/Abraham fiasco...people talking about Dirrell acting and whatnot. Who's to say? The only opinions you can take seriously are those that have boxed before (and probably medical professionals). I'd like to see the ones talking crap about Dirrell actually taking a flush uppercut shot to the chin by one of the hardest punching middleweights in the world while on their knees and see if afterwards they can tell me: "Nah, it didn't hurt. I feel completely fine."

Oh, and as an added note: For the love of God Juanma, if you lose, let it be by decision...because if you take a knee Puas will have a field day.

BTW, where's that pic of Margarito with the caption of him on his knees? The one that says, "Look, I'm a Puerto Rican!"

            That cracked me up!

            It's all good, guys!

I actually agree with what you are saying kind of, but what if Marquez KOs Lopez or beats him convincingly? We'll have to listen to guys like Ch@mp saying that Lopez was weight drained like he supposedly was at 122 when Mtwaga nearly KOd him. Lol.
