No, it was just a test to see where he was at. I doubt anyone expected him to look fantastic and if they did they expected too much.

He looked rusty and tentative but he still won, this is a blown up LHW off of a long layoff and 2 consecutive losses and he still clearly won his 1st HW fight without much trouble.

i agree with you on him losing some more weight...he should do that
Tarver looked ok for a guy who was coming into a new weight class and out of the ring for over a year
