Benn was an animal at this weight and Jeff Lacy is still largely unproven. Maybe in a few years we'll see what Lacy is made of. Right now I'd have to say that Benn would just out slug him and stop him late. Neither guy has/had a great defense but Benn was better overall offensively.Comment

I've seen plenty of benn fights and I've also seen almost all of lacy's fights.I was never really impressed with benn's boxing and have pretty much always thought he was overrated with the exception of him making Gerald McClellan a vegetable He never really did anything to make me say damn he's a good fighter.Now lacy on the other hand he's an animal I've seen him cripple guys with serious body shots and devastating hooks.Plus I take into account that Lacy is physically a monster and I come to the conclusion that Lacy would tear him apart.Comment

WHAT?? Somebody ban this liar right now, I clearly stated many times that Lacy would easily beat Reid by TKO. If half the forum expected Reid to win, then they must of been biased Brits with little boxing knowledge. Reid hasn't shown his best form since 1996 and the first half of 1997, I didn't even know the guy was still fighting FFS. Don't try over-rating this win over a washed up old guy for your American guy, that's pretty sad. How the heck was Reid was supposed to win? robin reid has never been world class and the only reason he lasted as long as he did was cos he kept holding, to be honest he fought like a bit of a novice, and can i just say something else he isn`t from Bolton he is from Runcorn,the interview after the fight was hilarious telling everyone that Lacy didn`t catch him clean, then they showed him the footage were he gets hit clean about 3 times in 1 minute,brilliant, now as for Nigel Benn if you pick a prime Benn against Lacy now i fancy Nigel to give him a good hiding but i haven`t seen any Lacy fights im only going off the fight against Reid, all this talk about Lacy Beat Reid and Reid did well against Calzaghe who beat Eubank who Beat Benn so Lacy is the best is a load of **** and whoever wrote that should follow another sport it means **** all, can i just say congratulations to Lacy and lets hope Robin Reid retires and stops saying he is from Bolton.Comment
