I actually think Pacquiao's flurries is one of the times he's most vulnerable. Floyd is more than capable than landing counter punches. De La Hoya tried a flurry on Floyd and look what happened, two consecutive rights that staggered him. I'm not saying Floyd will, I'm just saying he can so don't be so quick to throw Floyd's counter punching ability out the window and calling it bull****.

Difference between Floyd and Clottey is that Floyd has the ability to dictate the pace more than Clottey and has much more versatility and ability to adjust, and yes counterpunching does play a part and your an idiot if you dont think it does.

Manny looks good throwing these great combinations, but its mainly because he opens up his opponent, Floyd is much harder to open up, he has loads of tricks up his sleeve that Manny probably doesn't even know about.

It will be a close fight, but if they fight in May (if) I think Floyd beats him, any long period ahead of that I dont know because Floyd is nearly 34 now.

How often do you see Floyd just stand there and block? Never, he has a different defense from Clottey, he sets traps.

So anyone who views a potential fight differently from you is thick now?

Two ways of thinking:

The first: Pac, like all of Floyd's opponents, will have his output limited when he sees that he can't land on Floyd like he has on all of his other opponents.

The second: If the first way doesn't work, Floyd will have to increase his output. Manny isn't a defensive wiz, and Mayweather is very accurate.

This, people act like Floyd cant increase his output but they dont know this... he just hasn't had too recently because like in the first point he is so hard to hit he always manages to dictate the pace of the fight.

Let's make this clear, Floyd will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER increase in output of punches because he WILL get dropped. Now.. What makes you say Pacquiao can't land? An old Mosley almost ******ed Floyd in the 2nd round. Get your facts straight

Evidence of him getting dropped when increasing output?

Floyd loses one round in a fight, wins the other 11 or AT LEAST 10 and thats your idea of him losing? Because he got caught by 2 decent punches? Mosley tried to set up an attack and it worked, once it did Floyd covered up, adjusted and took control of the last 30 seconds, after that Mosley tried it again but it didn't work because he rarely makes the same mistakes twice.

Now im not saying its not gonna be a close fight, but to say neither Floyd or Manny have a chance is crazy.

U and ur infinite knowledge of boxing that is clearly unbias and definitely not purely in Pacquiao's favor should be able to explain why Floyd, the best, fastest counter puncher in the sport, countering Manny, who's fast, but always open for the counter, is BS.

And about the whole "He'll just be like Joshua Clottey"... The huge difference between Mayweather and Clottey start from; the fact Mayweather's defensive style is not to BLOCK ur punches, but to make u miss him all together. There's a huge difference.

He does block, just not to the extent of Clottey and Winky, there still effective styles, just unfair to base Floyd on there styles just because they are defensive fighters.

We saw Floyd block using the high guard in the Mosley fight (he will use that against Manny I think, cause thats what he used against Judah) but your right he does make them miss and make them pay more, as apposed to Clottey and Winky who try to walk there opponent down and take punches on the gloves then throw back.
