(NSB Time Machine) Hagler -VS- Leonard! Official Thread!

Who wins this. Pretend like it's 1987! The Twins will win the World Series and George Michael's "Faith" is the #1 song! How would you have debated this fight had NSB existed over 20 years ago?? Consider fighter momentums, style matchups, public perceptions at the time, hell.. even your own personal biases if you're willing to admit them.

Play the different NSB characters that would have existed back in the day(Hugers/Haters, IE Hagler's too strong for him, Hagler's picking on Welter weights or Leonard's too skilled etc..) It's an NSB boxing forum time machine set for 1987! Please discuss..

Hagler by KO in less than 7. Same as when he stopped Hearns, but might last a little longer b/c Leonard will run. He should have stayed retired.. Warrr Hagler!!

Leonard doesn't have the legs at this point to move like he'd need to for a win against Marvelous. Hagler catches him in the middle rounds, and it's going to be lights out.

I'd have been favouring Hagler by decision. Ray's chin was good enough for me to argue against a Hagler stoppage.

I hope Leonard takes it, but I'm not delusional. I fear for his life let alone his eyesight.

He shouldn't come back and certainly not against the monsterman of this generation.

... The eye stuff was all bull****, so Hagler could slip a little IMO.. Btw Leonard by knockout is paying +1700... I may have to put some cash down just cause those odds are crazy..

I'm really concerned about the panel of judges for this fight. British judge Harry Gibbs will clearly be biased against Hagler, and he needs to be removed. We need a judge who will carefully watch the fight and score it appropriately, someone like Mexican Jo Jo Guerra.

A mexican would be more likely to score for Hagler.. Sign him up please!
