Getting attacked by a very hard puncher is just as tiring as punching.

Vitalis stamina is way better then briggs' and conserving energy into the latter rounds wont work because he will still be more tired then vitali

First 4 rounds is where he has to do his damage

Briggs is going to get hit before he gets his punches off whatever he does. I'm not saying he should stand there and get punched i'm saying he should let Vitali come to him instead of chasing him and then throw punches, so he's still trying to land punches but he doesn't have to chase him to do it.

Briggs isn't faster than Vitali, if Briggs goes chasing him it's going to look like Vitali-Arreola.

There's no question Briggs has faster handspeed than Vitali (and Arreola) and Shannon doesn't telegraph his punches the way Cris does. Plus with his reach, he could very well catch Vitali leaning back.

Vitali has 10 times the endurance and work rate. The more the fight goes on, the more it favors him. And Briggs doesn't have this spectacular defense where he can just let Vitali beat on him for half the fight unanswered.

The Klitschkos are great at fooling the public. We're sitting here dicussing whether Shannon ****ing Briggs can get through and take him out.

No he can't. Briggs has no chance. He has fought absolutely nobody since Ibragimov took his title from his 3 years ago.

Briggs body is probably down to about 100lbs but his head must weigh at least 150lbs.

briggs is the perfect example of why meat heads and body building type bodies fail in boxing. he'll be completely gassed by the 3rd or 4th round.


BTW, does anyone have a picture of briggs when he was real young and weighed around 200 pounds? Looked totally different
