They think Vitali Briggs will be too one-sided to be entertaining and Antonio Tarver is an employee.

Weren't the Klith's hbo fighters, that's not showtimes problem, but maybe they will choose to pick up hbo's slack in the future, who knows!!I've always thought showtime had the better cards & the better matchups & fights,if people supported showtime more,I bet they'd return the favor!!

The Showtime decision-maker Ken Hershman doesn't want the American public to see Vitali put a beating on Briggs.

It's Shobox card taking place in the US that's airing on a Friday night that also features Shawn Porter, a fighter they are looking to build for hopefully more lucrative fights on their main Saturday night series "Championship Boxing". Essentially this series is an investment.

Compare that with the Vitali-Briggs fight which most people consider to be a joke that's taking place in Germany under the control of another network that would have to be shown on tape-delay. It's better suited as a co-feature (like Vitali-Peter) on Showtime but there is nothing else to be shown with it or as what is what is actually happening, taking place on a "free" channel such as ESPN.

Plus Nagy Aguilera is a great fighter. This is a great test for Tarver. It will be entertaining. And, apparently all you have to do is KO the great Aguilera and you get a title shot against Wladimir Klitschko. Just ask Samuel Peter, he stop Nagy Aguilera and all of a sudden he was back on top getting a shot.
