sorry mike but these battles were more names above all.hearns hagler was a thriller while it lasted hearns sugar fight was good but untill the last rounds duran got killed in againts hearns.Like i said tysons dominance topped off with his crumble againts douglas. fights like husein arce castillo corales holyfield cooper were super action packed. Names in those fights didnt really matter.

I understand your point Brown, but if I was trying to convince/persuade someone to do/watch/perform something, I would try to give them the "essence" of the object from all aspects. I would show you the ups and the downs of the sport. Show them the fighters who dominated, those who flustered, those who were the most successful, some who were not...I won't just show them the good things about the sport, because, regardless of how much persuasion you are doing, and how often you show the good or greatness of something, a person is ultimately going to make up their OWN mind. I hope you see where I am coming from.

good point my man. but i think these fights should be watched when the fish is on the hook and they know the big names. they could be like damn duran and hearns fought I wonder what happened. this is what brings out the passion for the great sport of boxing.

            I'd have to say:

            Pacquio vs Marquez
            Morales vs MAB Trilogy
Jones vs Tarver II (good knockout)
            Trinidad vs Vargas
            Casillo vs Corrales
            Mayweather vs Corrales
            Trinidad vs Mayorga
            Gatti vs Ruelas
            Lewis vs Vitali

              Rocky I
              Rocky II
              Rocky III
              Rocky IV

Only I thing I disliked about Rocky III is they decided to make Micky (Burgess Meredith) a ***. When he clearly was not in the first two films especially in Rocky II praying in the Catholic Cathedral.

              Gatti Ward I II III
              Bowe Golota I II
Larry Holmes vs Ernie Shavers II
              Mike Tyson knockout fights
Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier I & III
              Marvin Hagler vs Thomas Hearns

I can't believe it took that long to get Hagler - Hearns out. Everyone I've showed that fight to says, "man, I never watch boxing, but that was awesome!" Then again, that kind of gets their hopes up. After they see stuff like that, you can start teaching them about the finesse of the sport, and maybe they'll start to enjoy it for what it is.

This is not a "rate my looks thread" you dont have to bring my avatar into every single f***Ing post you make ****. Calling me a pedophile "gay rapist" and all that ****. It is totally out of line.

Like I said before you are much more interested in starting flame wars and insultations on this website than you actually are about boxing.

I am entirely open to this kind of **** in lounge. But leave it there.
