Bradley has been fighting top talent and is unbeaten. Ortiz has been KO'd. If Bradley loses to Alexander then this may be a valid topic.

you're just hung up on that whole quiting thing lots of time the doctors or the corner stop the fight if the cut is too deep Ortiz corner but their fighter in a bad situation. boxing is a brutal sport no need to continue fighting if you can't see the punches just to please some blood thirsty fans

If you watch the fight his corner ask him, "Victor, say something or we'll stop the fight" and he just sits there frozen with fear.

but Maidana was not better that night he was dropped 3 times and Ortiz won rounds 1 to 4 before he got caught in the 5th. it was a fluke Ortiz beats maidana 9 out of 10 times

IDK but the doctor had to step in mid round to check on Ortiz its obvious to everybody who watched the fight after that cut in the 5th round Ortiz was not seeing the punches coming and Maidana was just teeing off

The doctor didn't step in if I recall, Ortiz waves his hand and shakes his head to the ref and walks to the doctor because he wanted to finnish.

If the damage was as bad as you said the ref would have stopped it himself.

re watch the fight the doctor looks at Ortiz and then the ref calls the fight. if he waves his hand at the ref then he would have ended the fight right then on the count
